Savings to Get Through a Government Shutdown

I am serving now in the military and at least have savings to help me get through a government shutdown.
Thank goodness I have enough money to make it through a short-term government shutdown. But it is upsetting to think about a rich group of jerks running our country.
They are truly ruling us the poor and NOT leading by example. Let those worthless heaps take a pay cut and leave us poor folks alone.
I'm willing to an oath to protect my country (and I did), blah blah blah, but some of those I swore to defend SUCK!
