Financial Terrorism by Government

To even suggest the possibility that government ENTITLEMENT Programs would not be paid, is purely terrorism towards all of the faithful citizens of this country!
There are seniors and many people on government assistance programs that have no other source of income, not because they are lazy, but because they are older, and in poor health and have worked for retirement for 43 years.
They, along with their employers, have invested in the Social Security pot for a lifetime! This money does NOT belong to the government!
It belongs to the people of this country who had it subtracted from their pay with the knowledge that it would be returned with interest upon retirement age!
If they want to stop sending me a check each month then they can send me a one-time payment, but it had better include interest earned over the 43 years I worked! I would be happy to take the responsibility of managing my own money!
There would be plenty of money for all of our citizens if the government that we voted for would stop bailing out large corporations who are unqualified to run ANY business, and stop sending funds to foreign countries who stab us in the back as soon as we give them what they want!
The bible says: "neither a borrower nor a lender be!"
Sincerely, from a man who has never declared bankruptcy, never defaulted on a loan, never missed one payment on 2 houses, 2 trailers, or 19 vehicles in my life!
Gary, you are so right. It's time to clear out the dead wood in Congress, and that means MOST of Congress needs to be fired and told to find a new job, because they're not doing the one they've been hired to do on behalf of the American people.
Make your displeasure known at the ballot box!
Urge your elected representatives to support a bill that would make military pay and Social Security off limits for Congressional budget squabbles.
Those two groups of people don't have any other choice -- they can't go get another job.
Instead, Congressional pay should be first on the chopping block. Then see how fast they solve the problem.
